Clouded Eyes

The lure of your love

still lingers here.

It hurts me so

to see you go.

Your slipping into

a deep dense hole.

She drags you down

I know you don't see it.

I do and I lost you once

I don't want to again.

You'll never see

for your eyes are clouded.

Those who call themselves

your friends see you fall.

You say that you found love

you said that once before.

Why have you let go

let go of all your dreams?

Leave what you call love behind

please be as you were before.

For the lure of your love

still lingers here.

Mike... well you know who I am's picture

Why do I have the feeling that this poem, as well as a few others, are directed towards me? Awsome poems, you put tears in my eyes, and unlike my father who cries at everything I haven't since the breakup. Oh, and just for the record, I heard the same comments about me when I was with you, and I feel the same way about your boyo in wherever he is (Mexico??). Great job, you have found talent that I never knew was in you.
