Mom,

It's so hard for me to wish you Happy Mother's Day so far away from Me

I can't believe this is our first Mother's Day Apart.

I can't believe it's still so hard.

I think of you every morning when I open my eyes,

And you're still on my Mind,

As I close my eyes at night.

I wish you could see how beautiful Rachel has become.

I know you loved her so.

She starts High School this year, and boy, I could sure use your advice, Mom

I can't tell you how many times, since you've been gone,

I've gone to the phone to call you.

Only to remember....

So, I guess Mom, this Mother's Day,

I want to tell you, just how much you mean to me,

And how much you're words,

And your actions still echo in my heart.

I know you will always be a part of me,

And I know you will always be a part of what makes me

A Mother too.

You taught me what love is ...

And you taught me how to love a child unconditionally.

Your grandchild will only benefit from that love .

Although, I miss you with every fiber of my being. ..

I know that you did.. . .

Do love me, from where ever you are.

And one day, we will be together again.
