Rhyme and Reason

Folder:
Love

Sometimes life has a mind of its own

And takes a turn at the bend

It gives us new challenges and miracles

And a lot of new fences to mend

We laugh and we cry and we live and we die

And the things that we miss are a shame

But if we are really paying attention

It's a wonderful life all the same

A hummingbird lands on your shoulder

A butterfly kisses your cheek

One day someone looks up and smiles at you

And when you think you're strong, makes you weak

The dew on the grass in the morning

Is the same as the mist in your eye

And just when you think life is empty

It fills up so fast that you cry

The tears in my eye have a reason

Like the sky has a need to be blue

I looked hard for a reason for living

And at last found my reason was you
