In this topsy-turvy world
With the clouds beneath my feet
With sadness welcomed everywhere
And love is bittersweet
Tears seem signs of happiness
And a smile is just a mask
Love is held down deep inside
No matter how you ask
Anger’s cherished as a precious jewel
And hidden deep inside
But when love and happiness come to call
We lose our trust and hide
With war and anger everywhere
And the world so full of strife
Could we not solve it all with love
And live a peaceful life?
