You smell like wind and sunshine

Chasing away all the darkness in me.

My tower, my safety, my refuge,

My warm anchor to reality.

You worship me with your eyes,

And with your sweet, gentle touch.

Revering me as a goddess, 

You know I need it so much.

And oh, you make me feel beautiful.

And oh, you cause my soul to sing.

I find myself waiting for each new day

The love and the light that it brings.

You are my shield when I am weary,

My sword arm when I can't see to strike.

My shelter from the world when I am grieving,

It's true you are my most trusted knight.

I am the impulse to your caution,

I am the singing songbird flyin', wheelin' free.

The creator and crafter of words,

The one who shows you how you should see.

And oh, we have so much ahead of us.

And oh so many things we want to do.

But we'll take our time, take our love easy,

We'll drink in both the wine and the view.

I didn't really know what I was missing,

And then to my surprise, I found you.

Your easy smile and humor brightened my world,

You're laughing but you know that it's true.

There's so much more that I want to say

But give me time, please give me time.

After all, I've got all of these feelings,

I can't condense them all to one single line...

And oh, you make me feel beautiful,
