But I’ve felt enough, thank you,

watching every once-sacred space

get choked with hashtags and hotlines to hollow.

There was a time when messages meant something.

When words weren’t cargo for your back-alley digital cart,

creaking through Holbox like a ghost peddler

selling misery in 10-milligram doses.

Do you think this is subtle?

Do you think we won’t notice

how your snap handle shuffles in

like a rat at communion?

You won't find buyers here.

Just weary eyes,

keyboard warriors with poetry as pitchforks,

and a refusal to let your scripts rewrite our sanity.

Go on. Scuttle back to your cave of clickbait.

The rest of us are trying to breathe.
