I Haunt But I'm Still Alive

I'm there

The shadow

In the darkness

The whisper

Heard in the night

Unexplained

Every night

Just after the witching hour

I'm there

A ghost of a beaufial woman

A mystery you've yet to solve

No matter how hard

You have yearned

I'm reaching out

From beyond my mortal body

Somehow feeling

There is a connection

Timeless

Maybe even  Romentic?

I have no idea

I just know

These strange dreams

This being outside of myself

It's happening more and more often

And you're seeing me

At least 3 or 4 times a week

Aren't you?

Aren't you?

I'm nothing to be afraid of

Just lonely

The same as you

A social soul

Searching for my misssing piece

Hoping

Praying that you are it

Sometimes even feels

Like I'm going insane

Sure that you feel the same

Maybe it's time

Flesh to flesh

In person

Not just dreams

We meet

Don't you think?

And so tonight

I'll be waiting

This time for you

To come to me

In dreams

Haunt me

Awaken me

From a sleep

Deeper then sleep

My sweet, paranormal prince

With a whisper or a kiss

What shall after night time dreaming

Morning reality find

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
