In memory of Charlie Kirk
This is the crossroads where at last we must choose
Hell or Heaven to rule this nation
Is it going to be love or hate that guides us?
So much, too much on the line to simply remain silent
If we want to survive....
Something must be done that we have never done before
One and all must unite to pray
Use the brains and the courage God above gave to us
Run away in fear no more from our differences
Turn the page and begin again
U and I must
Regardless of this fallen world's chaos all around us
Nothing else matters
In our hands we now take our own destiny
No more waiting or holding back
God's golden second chance is here
Please try to remember to be kind even in the worst of times
Only that maybe is what is able to all of us now
It's all worthless and hopeless otherwise
Now maybe the only time we have to make a change before it is too late
Take heed and understand if you can....

Good poem, undermined only
Good poem, undermined only by the "U and I," which looks childish. You are better than that, and writing out "you and I" is not too much to ask of a poem of this quality.
