Leader of Her Pack

Sometimes I let myself out
Out to play or see the world
But this part of me that I let out
Is my trust, my love, my soul
And behind these, stands a wolf
She guards her pack
She watches with fierce green eyes
Blood drips from her fangs
And her breath can be seen in the moonlights glow
Her growl is deep and low
As she watches her children explore
But if she needs to
If you threaten her pack
She will tear, bite, claw
She will growl, cry, howl
She'll do anything it takes to keep herself safe
For the world is dangerous
But so is she
