Based on my perceptions
and my long term recollections
promotion passed right through me
to the next in line employee
and though you try to claim
that you're never to blame
with your scams and disillusions
of your managerial infusions
you're just another liar
tossing me into the fire
and although perhaps I've held on
I can never tell for how long
Because you tell me I'm a digit
that I'm never quite there 'with it'
and that my constant negativity
will perhaps be the end of me
So go on, fire this worker
and take on another shirker
because I'll never bend or conform
I'm the tower to your storm
better yet, I'll hand in my notice
you can check down your work list
because I've realised now, this is it
I've had enough - I quit.
