Let Me Sleep
I need to sleep, just let me rest
Tomorrow I'll be at my best
If I don't toss, and I don't turn
Within my dreams I often learn
Close my eyes, open my soul
no longer within my own control
Head on pillow, quilt wrapped round
sleeping softly, dreaming sound
So that I may wake, and feel alive
Without my sleep I won't survive
to last the day, or walk the mile
Let me sleep more...just a little while...
