Diamond in the Rock

Shielded from the cursed sun,

Shaded from the hellish sky,

Masked away from evil stars,

Yet in my sanctuary, I still cry,

Though from day I am hidden,

And though from night I am kept away,

I still feel my empty soul wandering,

Trying to find its way,

Cast as gem into stone,

As metal shaped into lock,

Set as firm as sky to earth,

A diamond in the rock.
