I knew I 'd never be good enough for you because,

I'd never be good enough for myself

I never will.

Why were you always so good to me?

Kindness that will [only] haunt me,

May seem generic or ordinary to you

in my world sometimes remarkable..

I step lightly , so as not to take your kindness wrong,

but not wanting to give in and open up completely

not wanting to push you away for good.
