in my smile i search for you

i'm still here

after the smoke swirled around into a perfect circle

i spun

away

my numb hands struggled to hold onto

all that i know but can't find

those things that i dream of but have not seen

the sweet music

i would have rather given in than sit unhappy with my

cold body

where is it?

when will it come?

tomorrow?

tomorrow is an eternity from today

i traced the paths back home

and realized i didn't want to come back

wherever i may end up in my mind's world

will be better than the fullness and nothingness

that is here

That reminded me of a Midtown lyric. Forgive me if I get it wrong, but I think it goes like this:
"Happiness will come/ When you are with the one/ Who can take you/ To places you never were but always knew"

I say "forgive me if it's wrong" like I'm not looking at the lyric sheet. Anyway, yes. And I like Midtown, so I like you. Good times.
