do you want to carve your skin
with sharp objects, frequently?
i'm sure you do.
do you hate yourself so much that all you do
is try to show people you're ok
or build yourself up
only to fall flat into a dead end?
do you get so lonely
that your entire being cries out in aching pain
for someone to embrace it?
is your mind so dirty
it thinks unspeakably vile things constantly?
is your heart so abused
you feel like you're going to die?
do you really feel this?
are you really able to understand?
I really like this poem. I especially like how you start and finish on the same note. Good job.
