What is it I Seek?

The answer is in these words...

When my soul descended

into this shell,

And my heart placed

in its well,

One half of my love

was given to me,

the other half was

somehow set free,

My very first love

was meant to teach,

that our grasp may,

indeed, match our reach,

And my second love,

well, she would define,

that love with a heart must

include a love of the mind,

my third love she

was the queen of my pain,

she taught me to be true

and never betray,

what I seek is what

is a missing part of me,

the first half of my love

that has been set free.

My LAST love is

my heart's penultimate friend,

for after God's love

I'll never want for love...again.
