Inner Secrets Hide

Love There is, inside you,
hidden from prying eyes,
a beautiful secret that
is kept safely under
lock and key.
No torture can make you
reveal it and no grifter's
plan may entice its escape
from your lips.
It is embedded within you
as gold or diamonds are
embedded within bedrock.
And you are fine with it.
Sometime, God provides us
with a gift so utterly
without equal, that we
give all to retain it.
We safeguard this gift
where inner secrets hide
from view. No eye, save
that of the creator can
pierce the veil of secrecy.
And so it is here, within
your bosom that you hide
the sign of all your dreams
made whole within you.
Making this, the keepsake,
of your heart's most valued
contents, no longer just talk.
Gather your arms close
around you and take ease
in the wonderous wealth
of that divine secret.
I know your secret. As I
too have locked within me
such value as none have seen.
It yearns to be set free.
But as yet, the time is not
right for it. And so, secret
and protected it will remain.
Until such time as the intended
is made known, the receiver has
taken possession, and the divine
is finally shared as it was always
meant to be.
