Dreams in our life

are pieces of our past

thrown together to create

either something pleasant

or bring us back past nightmares.

I dream when I am with you,

bcuz I have a reason to dream;

I hold on to my dream &

I hold on to you just to delay

everything for a few extra minutes.

As you dream your dreams

and others dream of you,

I am the one who shares

this with you, lucky enough

to be the person bringing

you happiness & sharing your tears.

Making sure that our dreams,

whatever they may be,

come true & having you,

are making my dreams, a reality.
