Into the Abyss

As I sink deeper and deeper into the abyss,

I look up only to see the bubbles of air reaching the

surface.

As the weight pulls me further down i inhale

breath after breath,

Trying to speed up the process of filling my lungs

with water.

As I reach the bottom, body flailing around lifelessly

throughout the darkness.

I open my eyes to find myself standing on the

edge staring into the water below.

Again I’m rejected by death.

Profound poem. Abstruse thoughts. As I think it’s not bad at all to be rejected by death again.
