Tears of Despair

Yeaterday, I shed tears, more in the line of sobs.

Not just for me, but, for others who are lost without jobs.

I heard a news announcement, that numbed me with shock.

About rotten tobacco, being stored, yet, not worth a crock.

Billions spent on warehouses to store this atrocious crop.

The homeless and the hungry searching for a mere ort or drop.

For those of us who have fallen from the clutches of stability,

By living in the world of plastic to the point of bankruptcy.

Do not give in, dear people, without reasonable cries.

May God help us instill the meaning of our lives.

To those who have total control of all of us that are dependent.

Find a way to better spend your funds toward poverty, and end it.

Hi Linda
Have you ever wished you were rich beyond believes? ….. So did I!

A love poem – so sad the reality of our materialistic world!
