Thank you,thank you

for answered prayers.

I'm alive today,I have-

been for two years.

I may be small,

I may be pale.

I am not fragile

nor,am I frail.

It makes things

easier for me...

When you squat down

and eye to eye we see.

You talk with me

in soft sounds,

I see your face

has no frowns.

Hold me,hug me,

look at me,

softly say what

needs to be.

Please don't yell

and shout at me.

Seeing your face

I think you're angry.

Remember,

I am a little one

and not a ref.

Sounds are ommitted

so therefore,

I am deaf.

A very insightful monologue of this little angel...Smilesz. I still wonder sometimes, how small boys (and me inclusive) talk and reason in their own personal worlds. How different is it compared to a girl's...and how wildly imaginative and absurd to an adult's. Smilesz. Thanxs for further provoking such thoughts in me, Linda. once again, u did a wonderful piece of poetry. Glad u directed me here. :)
