Enchanting Poetess/Visions of Words

The sun descended below the horizon.

The powers of darkness has set in.

A gentle breeze has found it's way

through an opened window.

Whispers from within awake her imagination.

Thus, begins a wonderful journey through her soul.

Memories of past life reveals

a rollercoaster of emotions and colours.

Profound, evoking images befall as she lays

calmly in dreamless slumber.

Her images fill the canvass propped in the

corner of her mind.

She paints with insight and depth,

a passion for life depicts her truths.

Her courage to expose these truths light

the way for many to also rid the demons

of their past.

Enchanting and encouraging her poetry

flows like a river.

She is a loving spirit and an angel,

that'll never leave one's side.

Inspiring,kind and passionate she is

an inspiration to us all.

Thank you,Rachelle, for being here.

Linda, I knew who this poem would be about from the title alone; how clever of you to use "enchanting poetess" (one of the member names Rachelle has here at Post Poems)! Your words here fit Rachelle and her works like a tailor-made satin glove. After reading several of your tributes to other Post Poems poets, Linda, I must comment on how skillfully you seem to get into their heads and souls, and how eloquently you describe and pay tribute to their works and personalities. That is a rare and wonderful gift that makes for wonderful, creative poetry!

Linda, I am beyond honored. Your kindness and generous heart shine through so brightly in this poem. I am grateful to you for these poetic words, and I will hold them close to my heart, always. Thank you, Linda. My heart is full. :)

it always makes one feel good to know that others think highly of us...... but when a fellow poet takes the time to write such a beautiful and so right on the money tribute about us..... well I just know that Rachelle is so honored to have this written about her she is one of the most beautiful spirits that I have had to pleasure of meeting here at post poems...... she had helped me get things right with a poem here and there..... and she is very supportive of me in my every day life even though we have never met in person and live miles and miles apart....... I know that I can call and she will listen and try to give me sound advice..... may her loving and healing light shine on for many years to come........ Rachelle you rock my little gypsy queen......... and Linda you are very talented and I am proud that you shared this with me......

This is a beautiful flower for a rose. Rachelle welcomed me to Postpoems and gave me support, as a friend when I felt "friendless", sincerely she has been a lifesaver for me at times. I am very thankful that I stumbled into this site one day, and met Rachelle and dear Renee. Thank you for sharing such a lovely poem. :o)
