Dream Partner, Farewell

abed you are

day and night

dancing images

once a delight

sunset on a

tuesday night

you called out

gave me a fright

i rushed to your room

and at first sight

a leak i spotted

sent me to flight

a patch placed

upon the sight

did not hold

in it's own right

the internal pressure

was the water's right

to open the flood gates

for a non-stop flight

you and your bed

must now make right

parting ways

on this very night

You are proving to be a match for me in many ways ... especially in words ... as for the deeds????????? How about a big dream partner hello! Unbridled love ... will loose the chains that bind, Relief first starts in your mind, When your thoughts turn to amorous adventures in store ... Waiting for the magic of your kiss to open up love's door, The key to freedom lies inside your heart ... but one turn will let love come in, nightly splendor forever more Unshackled, unbound ... now love found And freedom for wild, crazy, fresh love to overwhelm your heart. LET IT BEGIN! The journet to fantasy land is about to begin, Open up love's door.

Great poem, Linda! I love it, hehe. We finally had to put our water bed out to pasture; woke up swimming one too many times. Enjoyed reading your poem; had me wondering what??? was going on right up 'til the end. Just great! Shirley :)

I like the way you play with words in this poem. This poem would make a great riddle. You made me think, but I was not correct in my assumption of the meaning of this poem. Well done.

Linda, Awww!! I have had this happen :) But now I am like the Princess & the pea.. and I have to sleep on a feather bed~ :) This may be something looked back on with a smile? Any humorous moments in it all? Or just back aches? Thoughtful poem, Linda! :)
