A Letter from the Child Within

A letter from the child within.

Mr. Terrorist,

A week ago today...

You took all these people from us. Do you not have a mommy, a daddy, a family of anykind?

You must be a very lonely person to have your followers fear you so much, that they would rather face death than you. Do you have a heart of stone, like Beelzebub?

Mr. Terrorist your time will come.

My family consists of all the people in the world. They come in assorted shapes and sizes. They pray to their own God, Who is One Being. Their skin tones may differ. Their inners are all the same.

Mr. Terrorist your time will come.

We warm, loving, caring people left behind will join hands and Stand Tall, United into a Tower of Strength that'll bring you down. You will fall, like a branch off a tree to wither and burn.

Mr. Terrorist Who will Weep for you........"GOD".......

He will not forgive, He will Weep.

                              Yours never,

                                All the good people

                                of the world.

Linda ...well done! It is the love that makes us strong. Good will overcome evil, just as light overcomes darkness. You had visited my poems so I was returning the favor. Glad I did you have some good stuff.

Peace, Love & God's Intent are a thought away!

This is much better put than most of the work I have seen referring to Sept 11. In expressing a child's confusion at the senseless killing it reminds us that all human lives are equally precious and that anybody who proclaims their own view of God to be the one truth believes only in their own self - righteousness. Thanks Linda.

Well penned. Hope that he gets the message. There is a saying that you only as strong as your weakest link, but do we ever consider that we as strong as our strongest link. May good people always stand together in united strength against "evil"
