People Pass, Feelings Stay

I meet people.

I've lived their lives.

I know them without

them knowing me.

I am me.

I am you.

I know not why.

Inhuman,

there is no

explanation.

Hate me,

don't love me

for this infatuation

will die and

another life I

will have destroyed.

Unjustifiable,

I have not yet

met my match.

Call me Lucifer,

it has been spoken.

I jest;

bad influence

on the devil

I say;

Who am I?

A stranger to all

my doors are opened.

Once entering, fear

and defensiveness approaches.

Not many a thoughts

I have encountered

without knowing in

advance what is

to be said or done.

Actualities, I

know not any.

Call it what may.

Don't let me frighten

you away.

I need to be

fulfilled.

I love all.

None love me.

*grin... this is cute... I can identify with certain parts of the poem... lovely poem... very real and in touch with human emotions. you sound like you might like books by Meave Binchy. =D

People often have no idea the impact they have on the lives of other people.. even in passing we touch someone...good poem..
