The Season of Many Colors

       This is Autumn...

    Mother Nature you address us

     in fashions of many colors, shapes and sizes.

    The tides reach up toward the Harvest Moon.

    Our days are shortened;

    Our nights grow longer.

    The stillness of Time approaches

     a period of hibernation and dormancy for some.

    We, as people, long for those cozy nights

     before the fire.

    The merriment and festivities of the Holidays

     as they quickly approach.

    Thus, we discover...

     Autumn is the path into yet...

       Another Season.

Linda, I enjoyed this poem about autumn very much. You put the feeling of my favorite season into poetic words. You've captured the essence of autumn and its colorful spectacle. A very nice poem indeed! Best regards, Helen

...a nice tribute to the beauty of the season. Each season has its own special beauty but autumn is the colorful one.

yet another poem trimmed with evoking imageries and sensitive words along the sides..Smilesz. I think i will like the yellow and gradual hush of autumn...but sigh, my country has no seasonal changes at all. Only 2 seasons : hot and dry, and wet and cold. Oh well...~ Nevertheless, i have written some 'season' poems and they are posted in my second hall..~! Do hope u can read them, Linda...i cherish your comments a lot ~~! Smilesz. Once again, without fail, i have spent my time purposefully and delightfully in your hall. Your poetry definitely enriches one's thoughts and perspective. ~! Continue posting....and i shall be back ~! Take care, Linda. Byes, for now. :)
