You spoke to me and said the right words.

You knew my mind before I was heard.

It was if you knew me over the years

All my secrets and all of my fears.



I surprised you by telling you all my idea’s

Of things I had always kept in my head.

They matched the ones you had in yours

The thoughts of a possible future soared.



Late night conversation became a lot more intriguing

The connection between us was beyond believing.

It was as if the angels had pushed us together

They knew our pasts and wanted to make life better.



I am anxious to hear the words from your lips

As you hold me close and I feel your finger tips

Dance down my thigh with your gentle touch

As you tell me you will always love me so much.



We have an understanding that need not be spoken

A link between us that can and will never be broken

I feel what you feel in my heart  and you know it is true

That for now and forever I was meant to be with you.
