loneliness is a disease which plagues mankind,

 it is an unspoken truth about the nature of existence,

that it is essentially empty, that it needs to fill a void,

this hunger to satisfy it with others who cannot,

an aimless struggle to find something only to find nothing,

because nothing is something, something is nothing,

it all depends on your subjective point of view,

whether your glass is half empty or half full,

 perhaps it is a synthesis of the two,
