Yeah, but you know I wanted it to be a date.
JOHN
Oh, it is a date.
JEFF
Not if you are coming along.
JOHN
Why not?
JEFF
Because when there are an unequal number of people, it ceases to be a real date.
JOHN
If you’re not going to consider it a real date with Evette, then I will!
JEFF
What? You know I like Evette.
JOHN
Well…?
JEFF
Okay, I’ll consider it a date then, let’s just hope Evette considers it a date too!
JOHN
So if it is a real date and you’re using my car, then we’re all even about the twenty bucks?
JEFF
No way! The twenty dollar offer was only if we could use your car alone!
JOHN
There was never that stipulation!
JEFF
Fine, if that’s the only way it’s going to happen.

And, you’re going to have to pay my way into the movie too; I barely have enough money for that Slurpee.
JOHN pulls into the 7-11 parking lot.
