Ending It

Folder:
2001 Poetry

Don't end it with a phone call,

don't leave me here with nothing.

Tell me to my face,

what the problem is.

We can try and fix them.

I have faith,

that we will work this out.

If you end this with a phone call.

You're not giving us a chance.

You're letting the past haunt you.

Don't do this,

not now,

not ever.

Stay with me,

till the earth stops spinning,

till the sky is no longer blue.

We can get through this.

It's just a speed bump,

on the road of life.

All it takes is time.

And time is something,

we both have.
