Others We weren't close at all for very long
I knew the things you loved were wrong
But within time, you became a friend, I'm glad
A friend indeed I've never had
I miss the things we used to share
Things you did to show you cared
But one day
I'm sad to say
It all came to an end
I ask why again
You never came around again
I will never forget
The guy I found in you
Who made my mental sky sunny
When I was feeling blue
Now I know
Ther's more to you than meets the eye
More of you to show
And make my heartstrings cry
You try not to show your feelings
None of your orange peelings
But only what you hide
To try and keep your pride
But I now know there's more than meets the eye
of the guy I found inside
Good poem. Full of true emotion and I like that. One suggestion, unless you are trying to emphasize something, try avoiding ending consecutive lines in the same word as you did here:
"I ask why again
You never came around again"
But over all I enjoyed this poem 8) Keep on writing
