As I Read

As I read alot of poems

I see alot of people like to bleed

Cutting into their flesh

The pain they find somehow pleasurable

I can't help but think it misurable

The mental anguesh unmeasurable

As I read

I am not here to judge

And I will not tell you I understand

But would like to lend a helping hand to pull you

out of this quicksand of  razors

As I read

I see your plead for help

I hear your cries

I feel your pain

It's driving me insain to see you in so much pain

Please take my hand

I want to dry your tears

And help you with your fears

I have a keen ear thats read to listen

Cuz as I read you have found a friend in me

Author's Notes/Comments:

I do not know why but I am running across alot of poems about cutting. I don't know what I can do but listen if you want to talk. Maybe someone will help me understand also.
