I sit here and my mind fills up

With sweet abstractions of you

Sacrificing my heart?s last drop of love

Looking through this kaleidoscope view



I sit here and I hate you so much

I just can?t stop flowing with love

Bleeding the pain my heart clutched

When you thought I could give up



I sit here at this enormous front door

Waiting for you to walk into my life again

Knowing it?s locked forevermore

Still trying to understand



I sit here wishing to trust you for once

To have my barrier knocked down

To get up and brush myself off

When you rub my face into the ground



I sit here and my mind fills up again

With the abstractions of the world

Sister, Mother, Father, Best Friend
