All Throughout The Years

Folder:
Motherhood

A mother is there when her child is down

Willing to kiss away the tears

Vowing from childbirth to be around

All throughout the years

She shares her children’s laughter

She scares away their fears

She’ll be there ever after

All throughout the years

Attending every one of the games

Screaming her loudest cheers

Displaying her sports’ star in a frame

All throughout the years

Picking out Prom dresses

For her little girl to wear

Showering her with blessings

All throughout the years

Seeing the ring her little boy just bought

Makes her eyes fill up with tears

Hoping he’ll remember what she’s taught

All throughout the years

Proudly looking down the isle

As her daughter first appears

Mom’s face is glowing with a smile

All throughout the years

A mother has a special way

Of keeping her children dear

For her, everyday was Mother’s Day

All throughout the years
