Murderous Love

Murderous love

A butter fly danced its way gracefully through the sky

As the sun shone with its golden radiance

Yet he saw none of these things

As his mind is broken and bent

Yet he shed’s no tears

Though he has many reasons to cry

His salt water sorrow has run dry

And he sat and asked himself why

Why die she leave me

Why did she go?

No one will tell me

Yet I just want to know

I never hurt her

I was always there

Held her so close

And whispered I care

Yet despite that she shunned me

And turned away

Walked out the door

Never to return another day

So that’s why I found her

Begged her to tell

She wouldn’t so I killed her

May I be damned to hell!

I asked her so kindly

So simple and sweet

But she ignored me

My gaze couldn’t meet

So long did I plead

I asked and I asked

For the truth to be unmasked

Yet still she could not say

That’s what drove me to end her

With a swift brutal blow

A watched her fall

Let her crimsons blood flow

The sorrow and pain

That I had endured

Could not be forgotten

My heart never cured

So now she lies dead

Cold on the floor
