thanks nightlight. i was looking at a picture of a red rose with a blue background and water droplets upon it's petal. it inspired me to write, especially when i've been thinking about who my true friends are and lucky i am to have them.
I agree with Respected nightlight's two words.All is well till the rose dries & withers & fresh blooming roses are needed.What was that short story by HGWells "Dr Hedigers Experiment" Youth is as we see in the Magic Mirror made by our own imagination.So is friendship if compared with a lovely fresh rose.Why not allow the creations of God to remain on rose bushes instead of offering them as tokens of love & friendship.So many roses will be killed in Mid Feb 2014.In your view friendship is like a blooming rose.So ATU friendship isn't permanent!!Who cries for the raped roses ???? ~~~ I'll sail away from friendship if it means killing roses~~ Your Devilish friend PopEye~
