 Ebony petals cry 

down distressed faces 

detaching fake relationships

and sparing legitimate ones.

Black curtains crumble 

and pain pours out 

in a stream of torment. 

Ebony expressions soften

if a man rubs your back, 

holds you in his arms, 

and cares.
