lying under trees when it matters not
if they're homemade or store bought
for the have special meaning
decorated for all of us to visually see
in bags, boxes, bow ties, and more
as we know what we mean to everyone and thing
as our eyes glimmer and outstretched hands beg
to catch towering boxes saying,
"Please, be for me!"
