Put me in a crayon box
with radiant colors surrounding me
like gold, silver, copper
and decorate your paper
with the tip of me,
your favorite crayon because
I am bashful pink on the outside
with grape purple and frosted blue
sprinkles on the inside
for making your pictures
come alive like
fire breathing crayons and unicorns
soaring into wilderness pastures.
