Her name is Ana

Folder:
Ana

I met her one day
through a hopeful ray

In the beginning everything was gold
until all went too cold

She told me control
I accepted her new role

And started the shedding
But people were now dreading

As she made her way
Making me grey

Yet still thin
It was a win

Though she would leave me sometimes
But would always come back with more dimes

As she made her way
Making me grey

I then knew she is here to stay
And would never betray

She leaves some marks
But never barks

She’s very quiet
and happened to be my diet

Her name is Ana.

Read this poem and try to guess what I'm talking about. If you can't continue reading this sentence. It is about a phenomenon that entered my life two years ago and her name is anorexia.
