Tomorrow's World, Today's Dream

Tomorrow's World, Today's Dream

Tomorrow’s world is today’s dream

So should I be scared that all I’m having is nightmares

Of late?… of growing black

Poisoning the light, darker and darker

Til I can see no hope in leaving today

Just to enter tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s world, today’s enemy

And clearly winning the battle

Once again, time raises its sharp sword

And kills me in my place.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Another poem about my dislike of that thing we call 'time'. See my biography and you'll see what I mean. Also suggests that there's growing evil in the world (criminals, I mean, etc)
