Caught in a rainstorm

Water from the sky

God is weeping tears down

Is it time for me to die?



Now the light is seeping through

Shadows on the sea

Rainbows are a forming now

The angels come for me



Caught in a rainfall

Time to wrap up warm

Because it’s not my time to go,

It is just a storm.

beautiful terri, sounds like it could be from one of the poems from the different cultures that miss g forces us to read, but this one is totally enjoyable, it is one your best pieces- i agree with steph :) LaUrA 'tHe GiNgEr' MiNnS

I like the twist to this poem. You build up a belief that you're dying and going to a better place. Yet, in the last stanza you get your readers with a surprise ending. I love it.
