The Pond of Tears

Have you visited the Pond of Tears?
You must have, everyone has.
Who are you to say you never gave to the pond?
Who are you to say you never cried?

Have you ever waded into the Pond of Tears?
Ever felt the warm salt water around you?
Have you ever immersed yourself in its melancholy,
And tried to drown in its pain?

Have you ever added something in the Pond of Tears,
Perhaps a pinch of sugar?
Have you ever known the sadness of those around you,
And tried to sweeten it, instead of lingering within the bitter?

LOVE THIS!

I have visited the pond of tears.

Salted heavily for many years.

Still I sometimes add to the pool.

And drown myself for a minute or two.

Well, actually, when I dip in,

I dunk my head underneath and swim.

Then... I drag myself to the shore,

and rest on the salty beach,

until, I can finally smile

and I lift myself up on my feet.

This pond is merciless, Its

This pond is merciless,

Its bitter salt won't allow a breath.

The sadness swirls around its patrons,

This pain, for you, can never be fun.

May I suggest, however,

The petal of a rose flower?

Or pearls from an oyster?

Perhaps honeydew, to sweeten the water?

So you can drown and drown again

In the happiest way you can...

I'm glad you liked it!! I hope we can all find away to drown in our happiness :)

Happiness is a deep breath of

Happiness is a deep breath of fresh air.

And a love that doesn't compare.

For that is when the heart just opens.

Floats atop the blueest oceans.

Hope's alive and there's no despair.

So let us take in more fresh air.

:) The sun is shining! Yay! No more rain today. :)
