Lover, do you know

What you've done to me, for me?

Do you know what you've made of the broken pieces you found?

Dearest Darling, your quiet strength,
your depth of grace, your adoring patience
have made me more.

More, even, than Whole; 
much more than I dared ever dream I could be.

You've wrapped me in your words, softer than mink,
and folded me tenderly into your broad chest. 
The steadfast rhythm of your heart a throbbing backbeat
to the baritone resonance of your murmured professions:
