Jelly Face

Folder:
2002 Poetry

She's as adorable as can be

If you saw her you would agree

Cute as a button you'd attest

Loads of personality and zest

She's always on and doesn't stop

Doesn't falter and doesn't drop

Just too much energy I guess

Though she certainly makes a mess

Everything she does leaves a trail

Creating a mess just like a gale

A little storm dressed with a bow

Sometimes you want to just say whoa

To see her eat lunch you'd have a clue

She wolfs it down with barely a chew

Doing this she shows no signs of grace

Coming up with a smile and jelly face

Author's Notes/Comments:

I saw this title on another poem and had visions of something like this.  It was nothing what I expected by the title so I figured I'd write one.

Thanks to Sandra Davis for the title
