She and I are so much alike

We know how it feels to love so much

That we just can't breathe right

Taking turns laughing and crying

Never knowing what he is thinking

Dreaming dreams that we fear are only dreams

And overwhelming feelings of irrevocableness

I have been confused, I have been afraid

When she says her life just is not the same without him

I know very well what she means

I have lost love and I have lost faith

The joy within me has seemed to dissapear

And maybe it stemmed from him

I know her pain

Because I have been there as well
