We're finally getting back
To where we need to be
Friends with each other
There to make us happy
It's a time for us to learn more
A time for us to understand
A time for us to come to like terms
That we weren't able to back then
And back then, although so shortly ago
We've both moved on, we've both let go
Yet, now I'm back, and now you see
That you might just have a great friend in me
So, let us be cool with the time we share
If you have other commitments, I don't care (In a nice way)
As long as you remember who I am, and what I can be
I'm here for you hun, and I hope you'll be there for me
