I've fallen short far

More than I should have

From what you and everybody

Expects of me, but now

Take me back into your arms

And open my heart

To receive you...and

Everything you have to offer.



In these past months,

You've given me great things,

Some undeserved and

Maybe some deserved, and

I know you're watching over me

Making my life better than ever

Making sure things just don't

Fall through



You've brought someone special

To me, and like you not

Leaving me, I don't ever

Want to leave her

You've tested me, and her I'm sure

Broken the two of us, just so we

Know the strength we possess that

Only comes from you

I'll never know what the future holds,

Although I'll always have ideas

But you do, you're watching us do what

We haven't even done yet

How stupid am I?

And I just pray as I stay with you

You stay with me



I need you in my life right now

For direction on how to live

The life I have right now

I ask for your forgiveness

Of my sins because without you

I would be nothing
