Sometimes Wendy's far too candid

For those whose words are smooth and sanded

And sometimes Wendy's way too honest

But she's the one who keeps a promise

See Wendy clings to her ideals

But some folks say she isn't real

And Wendy keeps her dreams alive

I'm tired of listening to Wendy's jive

So Wendy gets her feelings hurt

'Cause some folks just treat her like dirt

See Wendy's love is very fierce

Wendy speaks with words that pierce

She may believe the lies you spin

But she'll rebuke you of your sin

No Wendy doesn't people-please

Or pump your ego with disease

She'll say the things that make you squirm

Complete in no uncertain terms

And some folks they just walk away

They can't take what she has to say

You'd think they'd have a heart attack

If someone spoke to them like that

They rush to throw up their defense

'Cause Wendy she's just too intense

And people used to like her a lot

Before she started taking shots

Before she got all that gall

But Wendy hasn't changed at all

No, I'm the one who's in disgrace

And she just tells me to my face

She's the one who cares the most

Who won't let her friends drift and coast

Yes, she's the one who knows the score

But no one listens anymore
