I don’t understand



Why you don’t see



How much pain



You’re causing me



When every time



I try to smile



I seem distant for a while



I’m only like this when you’re near



Because my heart is strained in fear



And so I’ll crawl



Under and hide



From all I’m feeling deep inside



You’ve come to close



And way to fast



I won’t commit to what won’t last



Please stay away



Don’t smother me



I want to feel just wild and free
